Recently, ZTE Corporation and China Satellite Communications Corporation (China Satcom) have jointly held a meeting in Beijing reporting the fruits of the application of Global open Trunking architecture during the earlier-held tenth National Games. ZTE is a leading telecom outfit maker in China and China Satcom is one of the six basic telecom operators in the country who especially specializes in providing satellite services in communications, broadcast and other related network fields. ZTE had provided GoTa systems and terminal equipments for the tenth National Games held this October and China Satcom is the designated service provider of the wireless walky-talky system at the Games. At the reporting meeting, the leaders from the Ministry of Information Industry said highly on the two providers'' remarkable performance in the telecom operation guarantee for the Games. Additionally, they also encouraged ZTE to step forward for more achievements in its own research and development in GoTa technology and expressed that MII will give all its possible support to the development and application of GoTa digital cluster technology.
