SIA Rigas satiksme, the municipal enterprise of the city of Riga has chosen Sepura TETRA radios for the Latvian capitals public transport. SIA Rigas satiksme provides public passenger transportation by buses, trolleybuses, and trams, and offers various means of transport for rent in addition to providing parking services in the city of Riga. The decision to choose TETRA technology is part of the plan to enhance the AVL system for the citys buses. Sepuras SRM3500 mobile radios will also allow direct voice communications between the control room and bus drivers....
