Sepura closed a deal with Ibiza International Airport in Spain that will see Sepura supply TETRA radios and a gateway. The radios will be used by a variety of airport services including security, maintenance, signaling, and emergency services. Telvents TetraNode solution will enable the integration of Sepuras TETRA terminals with the existing PABX and VHF ground-to-air radio communications systems. In a separate announcement, SECORA, the municipal organization of the city of Seville, Spain, has chosen Sepura TETRA radios for its advanced communications requirements. More than 3,000 Sepura radios will operate on Sevilles metropolitan TETRA network, recently created to address the communications needs of public safety (police, fire, and ambulance), utilities (water company), public transport, and municipal organizations (environmental services)....
