Sepura TETRA radios have been selected by the Krupp Mannesmann steel factory in Duisburg, Germany. The radios will operate on a digital communications system supplied by 3T Communications. The new TETRA system, whose implementation started in December 2005, was adapted to meet the specific requirements of the hostile environment of the steelworks. The Krupp Mannesmann steelworks produce 5.5 million tons of steel per year. Sepura TETRA radios will be used by the fire brigade and all the plant's staff members who depend on reliable and safe communications....
